Enrolled Agents are the only nationally licensed tax professionals, authorized to represent taxpayers with the Internal Revenue Service in all 50 states.

Enrolled Agents do more than tax preparation. They are your partners in tax planning and are there to help resolve problems that might arise with federal or state tax agencies.

To become an Enrolled Agent, a tax professional must pass a rigorous exam and screening. Then, each EA must complete continuing professional education annually. As a result, there are only about 40,000 Enrolled Agents throughout the country.
