""Clearly in an effort to do better on the customer service side we poached from law enforcement. Now there needs to be a recentering of the agency."
    Mark W. Everson, IRS Commissioner
New York Times, Oct. 16, 2003

Internal Revenue Service has announced that it will devote more resources to compliance and enforcement activities. This will mean more audits and increased collection efforts.

When IRS proposes audit changes or issues liens and levies, your clients will turn to yuo for help. They will expect you to get them out of trouble.

You have a professional obligation to advocate on your client's behalf. You also have a professional responsibility to act legally and ethically.

What are the boundaries in tax representation? At what point does the last ounce of advocacy turn into a ton of trouble for you?

Join us at SouthWest Fest 2004 in Prescott, Arizona. Learn how you can improve your skills to help non-filers, evaluate bankruptcy as a solution for tax debt, observe ethics and more.
