Attendance at all sessions will qualify a seminar participant for 15 hours of CPE credit for Enrolled Agents. Two of the hours relate to ethics training. Other professional groups should consult with their respective licensing agencies regarding possible qualifying credit.
ASEA has entered into an agreement with the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), IRS, to meet the requirements of 31 CFR sec. 10.6(g), covering maintenance of attendance records, retention of program outlines, qualifications of instructors and length of class hours. Jeri Cantrell, EA
Geromina "Jeri" Cantrell worked for the IRS for 30 years, primarily in the Collection Division. Jeri was a member of the IRS Speakers' Panel and a classroom instructor for new revenue officers. Jeri has been an Enrolled Agent since 2002.
Matt Dana, J.D.
Matt Dana is a licensed attorney, CPA and CLU in Arizona. He is a principal of Dana Law Firm with offices in Phoenix and Prescott specializing in trusts, estate planning and probate matters.
Jim Miller, J.D.
Jim Miller received a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law and is a fully Qualified Intermediary for all types of 1031 tax deferred exchanges.
Greg Robinson, J.D.
Greg Robinson servedas a senior trial attorney with IRS. Since entering private practice in 1979, Greg has been designated a Certified Tax Specialist. He is active in AFIT and the Phoenix Tax Workshop, as well as the ABA and Maricopa County Bar.
Bahar Schippel, J.D.
Bahar Schippel received her J.D. from ASU in 1996. She served as an Attorney Advisor for the United States Tax Court. She is a partner at Snell & Wilmer LLP specializing in pass-through entities and representation in federal tax controversies.
Henry Tom, J.D.
Henry Tom worked for IRS from 1976 to 1988 in Examination and Appeals. He was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 1985 and is a Certified Tax Specialist. Henry is the current president of the Arizona Forum for Improvement of Taxation.
Jack Wood, EA.
Jack Wood worked for the IRS from 1971 to 1985. Jack then worked for a tax law firm in Providence, RI, that specialized in tax representation. Jack has been an Enrolled Agent since 1985. He now lives in Prescott, where he helps clients resolve tax problems.
