SouthWest Fest Auction
When you are paying your bills, please think of asking your software companies and other vendors for donations for our annual convention auction to be held at South West Fest June 12-14, 2008. We can accept certificates for next year’s software, current programs, cash cards from food or office supply stores, etc. It is good publicity for your vendors to have 100+ Enrolled Agents know of their donations and services. The convention auction proceeds help fund our cash reserve to protect our right to practice our business of tax and/or accounting in Arizona. Whether we need to pay a lobbyist or attorney, we need huge funds available to help protect YOUR BUSINESS. When you are looking for the things you are missing from during filing season, please set aside several items of your own that someone may buy to donate to our auction. Bring your items to the convention or contact me, Nellie Williams, beginning June 1st to make arrangements to get them to us.

Where do I find items to Donate?
Value of donated items is to be determined by donor based on the fair market value of each item at the time of its donation. Donations to this society are not deductible as charitable contributions. Donations by members are considered "member support" and may be treated on the tax return like dues. Donations by non-members might be deductible also if the donation is determined to have a business purpose. | ||
